Re: A message from Dan Murphy
Sadness. I'm 31 years old and I've been listening to Soul Asylum for 20 years. Soul Asylum has been a constant in my life for the majority of my life. I've had the joy of seeing them live in the 90s, in the 00s, and a couple shows this year. I was first introduced to Soul Asylum when Grave Dancers U...

Re: Delayed Reaction favorite song
I voted for The Streets, but it was a hard choice. My black sense of humor loves Let's All Kill Each Other. I'm also a big fan of Take Manhattan and Into the Light.
Pipe Dream was one of my least favorite songs on the album, but that seems to be doing well in the early voting.

Does anyone know what time they open up the wolf den for people to sit down?

Re: 2012 July 26th - Bowery Ballroom, NYC, NY
I LOVED the show last night. I hadn't seen the boys in a club setting since they played Irving Plaza when the Silver Lining came out. I've seen them a few times since then but it's always been in outdoor parks or at mohegan sun. It's so much better when they can fully rock out in a club and when the...

Re: 2012 July 26th Bowery Ballroom, NYC
Hi all, I live in New York City and I've already bought my ticket. I saw Soul Asylum at the Bowery about a decade ago, and I'm excited to see them there again. I don't post on the website much, but I've been a big Soul Asylum fan for about 15 years. If there are other people here who are going to th...

Re: Which Soul Asylum songs cheer you up?
People already picked a lot of the songs that cheer me up. I love those opening drums in Can't Even Tell. That song has so much upbeat desperation that it has to get you going or at least make you smile Brand New Shine is so fun. The lyrics are pretty serious about an artist trying hard to do someth...

great but ignored song
One of my favorite soul asylum songs has always been lucky one. The song was buried on the Chasing Amy soundtrack and I find that even a lot of soul asylum fans don't know about it.
Beautiful beautiful song.
Any other fans of that song here?
