Re: Soul Asylum, Fountains of Wayne & Evan Dando 10/9 in DC

Maybe the 9:30 jumped the gun in listing the show. The Fountains Of Wayne website says they're announcing the Soul Asylum/Evan Dando East Coast & Midwest dates on the 8th.

Feb. 12, State Theatre, Falls Church, VA

I went to this show the other night with my son and my girlfriend. I was kind of wondering how I would feel not seeing Dan up there, and while it was kind of odd, I think Justin did a great job. As people have been saying since this run started, there is a renewed energy to the band, and the mixing ...

Re: Show in MD on May 30th

That aside, who was on bass? George or that Pete Donnely guy? It was Pete on bass. What a show! Re: July 4TH in Pittsburgh

What a great show! That was the first time I'd seen them since '98; and they are just as good, if not better, than ever! My kids loved them; my son asked me after the set if he could borrow all my SA CDs. My girlfriend is a long time fan, but this was her first time seeing them live. Of course, she ...
