Re: Questions you would like to ask David Pirner

Any plans for a 20th anniversary collection of GDU, with some of those awesome bsides like Thick and Thin, Easy to Avoid, Straight Up, The Break, square root, etc.

Re: Questions you would like to ask David Pirner

i think a great article could be made about the recording of the Candy From A Stranger album and what really went on with the label, and what ever happened to the earlier session material.

Re: A message from Soul Asylum

I guess I would like to see some clarification on just who is, or isn't "Soul Asylum".

Is Tommy a member still? Officially?

Who is the new guitarist?

So is Soul Asylum officially, Dave and Micheal w/ special guests?

Just curious what a fan should expect to see when they buy tickets.

Re: Interesting Soul Asylum articles

I knew that was the title of Soundgarden's major label debut, but never got that the two might be linked. I really enjoyed that tidbit.

Interesting Soul Asylum articles

Never heard of this blog before, but I really enjoyed reading his posts about the band. As someone who didn't get a chance to know the band before GDU, its fantastic to get more info and perspective on the older stuff. http://www.adioslounge.com/search/label/Soul%20Asylum There is quite a bit to rea...

Re: 2012 Aug. 3rd - The Independent, San Francisco, CA

Just thought I would toss in my two cents. It was nice to see the guys in a club again, but the atmosphere was a bit ridiculous. I noticed about 25 people that seemed to know the GDU songs, and a few that knew the older ones. We had a nice spot with Phil, next to Dave and Dan, but bailed out when so...

Re: Delayed Reaction Forum User Reviews

I've listened to the album a few times over, and kind of agree with most of the "glass is half empty" types. Its nice to have the album, but with the exception of Gravity, there isnt a single song on there I would miss if I never heard it. The album has no "edge" to it. I think this album largely su...
