Re: Playlist: The Very Best of Soul Asylum out 01/25
Looks like it clocks in at 53:40. Just curious, if you were compilation producer, what would your 14 track SA Playlist look like? 1) Somebody To Shove 2) Tied To The Tracks 3) Stranger 4) Nice Guys (Don't Get Paid) 5) All Is Well 6) Cartoon 7) Chains 8) Misery 9) Miracle Mile 10) Ain't That Tough 1...

Re: What is your favorite Soul Asylum cover art?
It's gotta be Grave Dancer's Union, even though it's not original. What a great cover. Proof that my wife is awesome, she didn't even try to argue when I told her the 24"x36" rendering was going above the fireplace :D Honorable mentions go to Hang Time, which is a reallly cool image, and Say What Yo...

Re: Favorite SA tracks
I just went to a wedding in TX, so I'll borrow from that theme: Something old - "Stranger" (unplugged version w/harp - great to hear last Thurs; honorable mention "Broken Glass", which definitely would have gotten higher billing over "Stranger" in my younger days, when Time's Incinerator wasn't a "...

Re: Show in MD on May 30th
Setlist looks about right, only thing I noticed missing was Whatcha Need, featuring Dave's hilarious banter with Michael and subsequent guitar solo. It really was an awesome show.

Re: Show in MD on May 30th
Dave hung around after the show and talked to a bunch of us, and did pictures and autographs and stuff. That was pretty awesome. I saw the setlist, Sometime to Return was supposed to open the encore, guess they decided to do some classic rock instead.

Re: New SA tattoo
I believe that is one arm at two different angles.
I'm sure that is the best tattoo I've ever seen.

Re: Joe Elliott declairs Soul Asylum "one hit and gone"
Soul Asylum is my favorite band, without question. I'm a devoted metalhead who hates pretty much all things 90's (as a matter of taste, not principle), but Soul Asylum just trancends everything. With the exception of SWYW, I could listen to any of their albums all day every day for a year and not ge...
