Re: What is your favorite song on Made To Be Broken?
I have put off my reply for a while, but I chose Never Really Been too. Pretty much everything that I could probably say about it has already been said in one way or another. It's definitely one song I can almost guarantee being on the setlist, and is just awesome to hear live. They didn't play it ...

Great collection of studio and live tracks. Well worth the ducks.
The live version of Something out of Nothing is pretty insane.
Great stuff. God Bless iTunes.

Re: Candy From A Stranger - 10 Year Anniversary
I can't believe it's been that long. That is easily the second-most anticipated album of my life (right after The Silver Lining, and a bit ahead of Let Your Dim Light Shine). It was all I listened to that summer, and it was definitely a trying summer. I remember being very confused as to why I wasn'...

Dim Light for me, easily. I spent a lot of time in my grandfather's van the summer I turned 11, and that album was all we listened to- I think it contributed to his going deaf lol.

Re: What is your favorite song on Made To Be Broken?
Ain't That Tough is in my 10 favorite songs all time by any artists (Somebody to Shove and Without a Trace are as well), but almost any song on this (in my opinion, SA's very best) album would be worthy. This is the only album I listen to without skipping a single song. BTW, if it ever comes up, I w...

Re: Tiny parts of songs that make all the difference
I mean all three, granted that is definitely a liberal definition of wasted.

Re: Tiny parts of songs that make all the difference
I actually thought it was something just a little bit darker- a bout of denial, that she simply won't believe the horrible things that she's seen. I've always thought that the song was about wasted lives. The ending, at least, is dark. Even though Dave sings the last line very gently, I always hear...

Re: Tiny parts of songs that make all the difference
I love these lyrics; I try to live by them. "It's" only a big deal if "we" make it one. [...] But he saw the world through the eyes of a child Yes, the lyrics to Eyes of A Child are a good listen. I'm curious about one thing, though: What do you make of the very last lyrics in the song, i.e. "She s...
