Don't Forget Sweetheart of the Rodeo by the Byrds. Even though Parsons' lead vocals ended up on something like only 2 or 3 tracks, the album still has his fingerprints all over it.

"In my hour of darkness" or whatever that song may actually be called, Yes, it is called "In My Hour of Darkness," originally by Gram Parsons. If it floats your boat, check out the CD that has both his albums GP & Grievous Angel. Amazing stuff. And the tribute album Return of the Griveous Angel, fr...

Since I had the Overreactors show on for a while recently, I was reminded of Dreams Deferred. Very nice tune.

Does "Hurricane" count? Sure it ended up on the Golden Smog Record, but it was debuted by SA. The last few times I saw GS, the crowd (which consisted largely of Jayhawks, and to a lesser degree Wilco, fans) were like "Whoa, that guitar player is pretty cool. His songs rock! I gotta check his band ou...

For the list freaks...... This is a spin-off of some other threads going around here, I first saw this type of thread on the Red Mosquito (Pearl Jam) forum last year. Pick your favorite songs, but track# by track# from the original studio albums, (i.e., what is your fav. first song, second song, etc...

Dave has defintiely referred to the trilogy in concert the last couple years.

Alright...as a point of reference if someone wants to make a defnitive list of non-album tracks and stick it somewhere on the site.......here's my homemade mix of outtakes. I tried to stick with studio songs (released and unreleased) and covers songs officially released from the studio (and some liv...

Gone Forgotten. The Break would be really cool too. More realistically, I always wonder why Can't Even Tell doesn't get played. Judging by the setlists I've seen, it never seemd to be a concert mainstay even when it was on the radio a lot. I'm in the Freak Accident/Directions fan club as well. All t...

Nope, different Rob, I'm in the NYC-area, been posting on OJeez since 98-99 or so... Yeah, Dave didn't keep that look for long.

Are you Rob of the famed Caged Rat site?

Also, I've never seen Dave with hair as short as it is in the 2002 pics!
