Re: 2013 - July 20th, Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles, CA (UPDA

They never called back, but I just called them again, and Soul Asylum (or "Soul Azeelum", as the woman tried to say,) hit the stage at 9:25 pm - the third band in the lineup.

P.S. I also was able to get Ticketmaster to refund my previous ticket on the phone, since I had chosen print at home.

Re: 2013 - July 20th, Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles, CA (UPDA

Also, General Admission tickets are only $20, but my original ticket was $55 + $14 of convenience fees. I just spoke to Live Nation, and the process of getting a refund is a pain, but it is possible. 1) Buy another ticket for the Wiltern for $20. 2) Mail in your old ticket to their corporate office....

Re: 2013 - July 20th, MOVED TO THE WILTERN- Los Angeles, CA

Confirmed on Ticketmaster's site. (Thanks for the heads up!!) The main floor of the Wiltern will be General Admission, and all Gibson ticket owners will get General Admission tickets. I left a message at the Wiltern asking when SA would hit the stage, and will post if I hear back.

Re: 2013 - July 20th, Gibson Amphitheatre - Universal City,

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm asking because I have an insane schedule for the rest of the month, and I can only budget time to see Soul Asylum and no other bands. :(

2013 - July 20th, Wiltern Theatre, Los Angeles, CA (UPDATE)

Any idea what order the bands will play and what time specifically Soul Asylum are set to hit the stage?

Re: 2012 Dec 28th - First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN

What a fun night! I'll admit, Dan was missed, but it was still an incredible show. Highlights of the 1st set: Can't Even Tell, Leave This Town and Made To Be Broken!! After a 10 minute intermission they played GDU in its entirety in CD order. My personal favorite was New World. My God, what a beauti...

Re: New Album "Delayed Reaction" out July 17th, 2012

I'll most likely be buying the Best Buy release for the extra tracks, and the Vinyl. I'm not a fan of the way music is mastered on CD these days (Google Loudness Wars for the reason), and if it's mastered directly for vinyl, chances are it will be more dynamic, and in my humble opinion, WAY better t...

Re: 2012 June 2nd - Balloon & Wine Festival, Temecula, CA

It was a very good show, though too short. The first part of the set was mostly the hits, and after "Runaway Train", it was mostly new songs. All looked to be in good spirits and Dave was having a blast. New bassist Winston Roye was wonderful and a great fit. (It's also bugging the hell out of me wh...
