I just booked a hotel a mile or so away for the show, so excited! Anyhow, do people want to meet up for dinner and drinks beforehand? If so, any ideas what places around that you recommend? Karl was a great guy. I'm glad to say I had the chance to meet him a couple of times., hard to find a nicer guy. He was in many respects the soul of the band. Even though his body may be gone, I still think he is the soul of the band. He loved the band more than anything, and kept the band together....

I'll be in Reno. Flying into Oakland, CA (from Phoenix) then driving the 3 1/2 hours only to fly back out Sunday afternoon. It is worth it to me. All of the rest of the shows are back east so I've got to grab 'em while I can. Looking forward to seeing SA even though the last time was just June 1st....

LOL, I actually thought my speakers were blown as well. More than just crackly vinyl sound... It sounds more like they mastered it way too loud, especially if the original sounds okay (I cannot confirm this myself). It's not so horrible sounding to me, but there's definitely some clipping going on....
