Great work Jim! I finally finished reading all the pages from Shows. I especially like your side comments, e.g. "the awesome show" from Minnesota Music Awards 1986, and trivia e.g. "the first performance of Let's All Kill Each Other".
Looking forward for the setlists!

Re: How old are you?
Within the next year I owned all of Soul Asylum's albums including the Times Incinerator cassette. I special ordered them all from HMV  First of all, welcome to the forum, Bono! Hope you would have a nice time here, hopefully having new friends! Your story is great. The majority woul...

Re: What was the first Soul Asylum album you listened to?
The Silver Lining! Seriously - The Silver Lining is your first SA album? THAT'S AMAZING! Now this one here is a new fan! Chicago, would you like to tell the forum your story on how you discovered Soul Asylum? I (and I guess others) would love to know how someone became a fan from something not from...

Re: YouTube Cracking Down on Posted Videos
I have read this from a news article, but like you Monolith Maniac, I was surprised that they finally resort to extremes to fight infringement. They are quite weird too - imagine a video with no sound??? This is very bad news for me. I would let you know that videos from Sony BMG cannot be viewed in...

Re: SoulAsylum.com
I think websites may be too commercial for SA. They just aren't about promoting themselves. I think they are happier just appealing to themselves and us die hards. Anyone agree? Ah yes, we do like to keep Soul Asylum for ourselves! We don't want anyone wasting our time by complaining that SA is jus...

Re: Future musical direction
Gangsta rap yo. ;) Or the guys singing that Five song that Fritzi (I think) mentioned. Kidding, kidding. You remembered correctly, it was me who mentioned the boy band  This is a very interesting thread you started up, Homesick. Although I do feel quite the same as others here (who would just ...

I agree! On to homemade shirts! And Sheryl, I do hope you really didn't throw your shirts away...Homesick wrote:I don't know what position that guy who made the remark about copyright had in the band, but as long as there's no official word on it I'd say it's nothing to fret about.

Re: Orlando Show???
Oh Eric - that's bad news! I'm sorry you couldn't push through with your plans for your birthday.
Here's to hoping there will be more shows. That, or a new album.

Re: T shirt design continued
If a simple personal Tshirt violates copyright law, then so are custom made compilations (I have my own "Best of SA" CD)? This is really bad. And I don't mean to offend, but US does have these complicated laws over littlest things... I also have a very bad feeling that you are refering to Dan here.
