I discovered Soul Asylum after Karl had already passed away, so I had no personal connection to him at the time. Even then, I've found myself contemplating on more than one occasion just how sad his passing was, even for fans like me who never met him.
Happy Birthday, Karl. This website will always keep a shrine to your memory.
