also Time Will Tell reminds me of Into the Light and they BOTH remind me of this song from the Clueless soundtrack. it's random but i keep being reminded of it. must go find out what that song is ...
ok it's CHANGE by Lightning Seeds. i don't know, probably just one note is the same that triggered it for me or something.
EDIT i meant to say "time will tell reminds me of THE JUICE and they both remind me of CHANGE"
not into the light.

Overall i think this was a sold album, had it for a day so i will give my premature evaluation on 1-4 rating per song.
Gravity. Catchy, don't know why why they would have went with it as the first single. I couldn't see a radio station in my area even sniffing at it. 2.5
Into the light. Love it, classic Dave. Best day ever just got better. a solid 3.
The Streets. This song rocks it gets a 4 in my book.
By the way. I've liked it since 1993. I was annoyed when i saw it on the track list but they did a nice arrangement i'll go 2.5... cuz my opinion matters, lol.
Pipe dream. Once again classic Dave lyrics, sounds like it could be inserted seamlessly in any record since 1990. 3.
Lets all kill each Other. Never was a fan of it, trys too hard to be political. 2.
Cruel Intentions. Always had a soft spot for this one, a concert favorite. Catchy son SAish track. Like how they put it together . 3.
The Juice. Hokey words, love the melody, a solid 3.
Take Manhattan. Hands down my favorite track. Classic story song, its a 4.
I should have stayed in bed. We all know this song, its a 2.5.
As for the bonus tracks. a combined 2. Really disappointed with them. Time Will tell Is a Nice track, the rest are throw aways, the rest of them sound like a combination between a pissed off Monkees and disabled Beatles.
Good Morning Good Morning? really?
Overall i think is their best effort in a while, its a fun record that doesn't try too hard. its a solid 3.
Just wondering why there wasn't room For Freak Accident or Directions.
Just joined here after buying the new album, a fan since first hearing 'Closer TO The Stars' way back (I live in the UK, North Lake District). Seen once, at the Marquee, London on the 'And The Horse They Rode In On' tour. I will never forget the vocal interplay between Dan and David. This new album is a great thing to me, and 'The Juice' is my song of the year so far.
UPDATE: Pipe Dream #1, Take Manhattan #2...as of 8/12/12.
Someone tell me why there is a Parental Advisory sticker on this album?! I heard an f-bomb and &^it somewhere. Was that the guys just messing with the whole idea?
