I have the Best Buy exclusive edition. Album is excellent....BUT...
Is it just my copy or does this track (Good Morning Good Morning - last song on the album) sound AWFUL? I think it sounds as if someone held a tape recorder up to a speaker and recorded it.
Anyone else?

Mine sounds weird too. I don't have the original release to compare it to, though.
Since it is a Beatles cover, I would assume it was done in the "vein" of the original Beatles song; which has less modern production.

I have this song on Minnesota Beatle Project Volume 2 (from 2010) and it sounds the same. Intentinally old school, poor quality recording.

Well the version from the cd itself has this snap/crackling sound throughout it. I actually downloaded it from iTunes too - off of that Beatles compilation and it sounds a bit better. Too weird!

A mastering mistake? The drums sound horrible!
