i think a great article could be made about the recording of the Candy From A Stranger album and what really went on with the label, and what ever happened to the earlier session material.

I have some questions:
1) Would the band consider a mini European Tour (for example big cities in North Italy, England, Germany, France, Spain) on the occasion of the new album?
I believe it is manageable. I completely respect the fact that there must be also a financial profit. So, in order to ensure ''success'' (=sold out), i think collaborations could be arranged. For example SA can join with a domestic artist for a 'live'' show. We are fans, but we live in Europe. Making a transatlantic trip is not so easy.

2) When will they release the new album? Will they support it intensively?

3) Why SA never performed a love ballad?

4) I am a fan and i love having a CD in my hands. Could we expect (someday) to have the 4 cover EPs as one CD in our hands?

That's all!!! :)

Ask him what drugs he was on when he wrote The Sun Maid.

...don't actually ask him that.

Ask wtf went on with CFAS.

"Why are you so awesome?"

Ha... no, I would ask him when he's coming to Europe, or when they reschedule that cancelled gig a few years ago in Brussels which they said they would. I've been waiting for only 18 years now...

1. Ask about the new album extensively... label, release date, when they wrote the new material etc.
2. What bands has he been listening to lately (always interesting to hear this)
3. Where does he see the band going in the future (post next album etc)
4. Will they ever release the cover compilation on vinyl?
5. How come soul asylum has never done a record store day release?
6. If you could see any band in their peak, who would it be, and when?
7. how has touring changed as you've gotten older, do you find it easier, harder, different etc?

Any plans for a 20th anniversary collection of GDU, with some of those awesome bsides like Thick and Thin, Easy to Avoid, Straight Up, The Break, square root, etc.

What has been his favorite show or experience since Justin joined the band?

Also, if he could have any animal in the world as a house pet, what would it be?

What makes a show good/fun from the band's perspective? As fans, we talk all the time about what makes it a great show for us (what songs are played, jokes told, etc.). I'm curious what factors make it a great show for the band.

You've pulled some classic songs back into the lineup in the last 5 years (Little too Clean, Easy Street). Can you name a few more classic songs you'd like to bring back?

Do you like the Simpsons?
