The way Songs for Slim works is every month or so, a chosen artist does a recording for it. They press a set number of limited edition vinyls which go up for auction, or you can just buy the tracks from iTunes if you want to do that instead.
I don't know anything about what Dave and the band recorded, but I'm sure the details will be up on the SFS website and Facebook page shortly before its release. The recordings are coming out in a series.
Oh, and if anyone even thinks about ripping the tracks off and getting/giving them for free, so help me god I'll reach through the computer and slap you.

Finally watched the interview vid. Well, that was a lot more positive than the video interview he did last August!

What I'd like to know is why this EP was mixed louder than Delayed Reaction. Sounds awful trying to make a playlist using the cd and EP. Cd is so quiet next to the EP songs.

can't answer that one for you, but if you have any decent audio editors, you could drop the levels down a bit on the EP songs. A bit of extra work yes but then we are only talking about 3 songs. Or send me the songs as wav file and I can do it for you. Would just need to know how far to drop the levels
