i just pre-ordered my $15 cd+download. : )
considered a few of the other things but in the end didn't really want any of them. well the private concert would be cool if all you ETSA fan site friends all lived near and could come! (we could all chip in!?! hah. )
anyways. i'm excited to hear the new material. i'll have to re-watch the video later to look for jim - cool!

I would have liked the magnet, but by the time I saw it, it was sold out. :(

I must be in the minority, but I thought Delayed Reaction was their best since Horse…again probably in the minority thinking that GDU was a such a crappy LP.

Nah, I think I'm in the minority by not liking Delayed Reaction... most fans really seem to dig that one. I was just disappointed with all the old material on it and even the new songs didn't do that much for me, but that's cool about an opinion... everyone has a different one!

I love Delayed Reaction. Wish there was a proper recording of Freak Accident on it though.

Me too!!! If that was a Pledge option, I'd have gotten it lol. One of my most favorite songs.

It's possible Dave forgot about that one... maybe opt for the $175 handwritten lyric sheet of a Soul Asylum song of your choice; doesn't say it has to be a released one (he can check out our discography for assistance if need be). Maybe then he'll say to himself, "Yeah, this one deserves an album like By the Way and I Should Have Stayed In Bed."

Edit: Too late, its sold out... maybe some people already had my idea. I can actually see that as a disclaimer on future pledge sites that have that similar purchase, "Must be a released song." Then I guess you could say "Look, I got myself a rare copy of a rare SA song." Then of course this "long lost lyric sheet" would end up being recorded by another artist and win the Grammy for best original lyrics, then Dave would be called to the stage and holey jeans or not Dave would be nowhere to be found in the building to accept the award.

I like your thought and your story :D
Maybe that's what one if those Pledgers will ask for, I'd like to think so.
