Since this relates to Dan, I thought I'd comment here instead. :P

Is it just me or does Dan's face look longer than normal? Maybe it's because of his hat and it's elongation effect. Cool hat though. :)

I like their coats! I also have a gray one that almost looks like Dan's, except for the collar...and the look. :P
I love the coats, too, but I prefer the cut of the coat that Dave is wearing. Dan look great here.

Does anyone else think there is a Frankensteinesque atmosphere to this photo?

Yeah...definitely...it works though. This reminds me of the novel...something about Dave (mostly) and Grant looking like they've been through shock treatment or, as mentioned in a previous post, through a Van de Graaff demo. :P

Dan looks like the young Dr. Frankenstein with Dave as Frankenstein's monster. Grant's the bystander caught in the effects cuz see how some of his hair also rose up?

A couple of volts of shock treatment for Dave when a couple of votes of confidence will do. Interestingly enough, the same holds true for Frankenstein's monster, who was also called a freak.

So frustrated. Get up anyway.
So complicated. Changes every day.

So the darkness fades
And the light, will come shining through.

See... Physics experiment band would make for very interesting band photos in my opinion. Especially if they toured Europe, and took them in an old castle or something.

I was thinking of the novel (not the movies), too, Sayeeda.

The setting of the photo has a definite 19th-century Old World air.

But it was the way Dan is dressed that really gave me that impression. He looks like he is ready to stalk through the streets in pursuit of his monster. And then there's Dave looking like his hair is still crackling with electricity. I took one look and thought, "Victor Frankenstein and his monster."

And, yes, Grant looks like the electromagnetic force has him stuck to Dave's side. He and Karl could be townspeople.

What an evocative photo!

I've been out of the ETSA forum, and the coveted Dan thread, like forever! I'm sorry but I have to start from the beginning of my absence :P

any ideas why dan shoves dave around 2:30??
Just giving him a little love tap? ;)
OOH, that's what I thought too, especially when he did that flirty tap right after their usual one-mic sing-along!

Watch at 0:46-0:51 for some uncharacteristic hip action from Dan. :o

Enjoy!
:o I can't believe I missed that!!! Nice find CWL. He looked quite natural doing it :P

Anybody who can translate the whole article for me us? It looks like a very informative article about Dan, it would be nice to know more about him...

PS, in picture 1, he looks like Mark Knopfler in Dire Straits :P

Weee! Now we have a Trenchcoat Dan! I LOVE it!
What does "Haarfarbe" and "Augenfarbe" mean? Do they pertain to "hair color" and "eye color" respectively? I think they got Karl's messed up (hair color is blue-green???), and Dan's a bit off (I think he's blonder than Dave and his eyes are the bluest blue). I thought Grant's were hazel, not green, though I could be wrong...

Thanks! I clicked on the article's link on Grapefruit Moon Gallery and I must say Dan's collection is pretty neat (no bias there)!

LOL Don't worry, Zany. I'll spare all of you from that kind of monstrosity! =D They are a cute couple though - no need to photoshop my awesome presence on that pic =P

Hey Dave x Dan fans (which is composed of me and ... well, me)! Check this photo out!: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.c ... D=55674375

They even made that photo as their profile picture! I guess some of us can extract some deeper meaning on that photo ;) ;) ;)
