ok i just watched it and i agree he's much more 'energetic' than normal, which is cool but it's so annoying that his head is cut off in most of his shots!

As much as I lust over Dave, some of my favorite shots in the Shove video are the ones of Dan in the shite shirt standing in the water. They have a sort of ethereal quality that is rather seductive.

2 of my very good friends who prefer short hair on guys have always liked Dan more than Dave. But I was hooked on Dave & his sexy long haired bed head from day one, so I have a hard time pulling my eyes off Dave at the shows, but if I could do that, then they would very happily devour Dan.

That was Dan???

His subplot of the music video is my favorite part - SWEET! (YouTube videos have low quality so his face is blurry - I can't distinguish the faces really).

OK, can anyone point out to me the subplots of the video? Dan's is the one in the beach with the water sticking on his body - shutting up now. Karl's is the one with the girl having a tattoo or is Grant's? And where's Dave's story?

there's dave having acupuncture, dan standing in the water, a girl standing in the water, and i dont know where the other two are unless they're involved somehow in that creepy little kids party bit. the youtube vid is really low res, it's hard to make out faces for sure.

off and on since the video first was released i've wondered who got shoved down the stairs. i seem to remember thinking it was danny, but i just rewatched it and cant make a thing out.

i know i used to have a nice clear copy of that somewhere but i dont know where it went. it might have been a google vid on another computer.

It was Grant; he was wearing a leather jacket and a hat. I recall watching some interview (taken place during the GDU era) mentioning how Grant was hesitant on doing the shot because of having to do numerous takes of it. But the shot looked so awesome on the first take, that he didn't have to do it again. They guys said he was an "Excellent fake stair faller", or something to the effect.

2. Dave is the one getting the acupuncture (I thought he was a girl getting a tattoo).

I doubt it. I first heard of Selma Blair on this show "Zoe, Duncan, Jack, and Jane." That was 1999. I think she would have been pretty young when the Shove video was filmed.

Karl looks like the magician to me too. Gonna have to watch it a few more times to make sure...
