Soul Asylum "Taking over JACK FM"

Did anybody else hear the announcements on JACK 104.1 FM today?

I briefly heard a blurb on their radio broadcast today that Soul Asylum will be taking over JACK FM on Friday morning (at 7:00 AM) and playing what THEY want. A search on http://www.1041jackfm.com yielded no results.

Any idea how long they are "taking over for?"...I will be listening since this is the station piped through the gym

I heard it this morning, Dan Murphy himself alerted me to the news this morning on my commute. It made my day a little better and I will be tuned in before and during work tomorrow. Think I will try and record it, if my computer is stable enough to record for that period of time unwatched. Would make a fun mix cd to throw in from time to time.

I called the radio station and they said the "hijacks" usually last about 45 minutes to an hour (so between 7:00am-8:00am CST).

Well with the Jack FM here in Kansas City the DJ's play what they want to here...so my thinking its what ever Dave, Dan and the rest of the band want to hear personally.
