Not sure if anyone has ever seen this before.
It's the trailer for the film "First Avenue: Hayday 1985 - 1992"
Produced and Directed by Rick Fuller the same person who did
"Soul Asylum - Something Out Of Nothing"
It does include a short clip with Dave, Karl & Dan and some music as well.

It's a great trailer... makes me remember the many GREAT shows I've seen in that room.
Just like " Something Out Of Nothing " this film was shown twice never to be seen again. Maybe someday it will come out on DVD.

I have never been to see SA in Minneapolis but I've heard that they are always really in their element there. I've got a frequent flyer ticket so trying to decide which show I will attend this year. I highly doubt they will come to Phoenix (or Tucson like last time).
Anyway enjoyed the trailer, thanks for sharing!

Just alittle observation...Dave says a cherry pie in the Hayday promo but in the Spoken Word video it appears to only be whip cream, so is this the same incident he is talking about?

Nice trailer!
Could've been cherry. Anyone know of any other pie in the face incidents?
Hmmm...now I know what to ask him if I ever meet him...and if he even remembers. Meh, who knows...he just might. One doesn't get smacked in the face with pie every day unless that someone is any of the three stooges.
Dunno, and we never did figure out what flavor the pie was according to our Spoken Word threadTwiddly Dee wrote:Just alittle observation...Dave says a cherry pie in the Hayday promo but in the Spoken Word video it appears to only be whip cream, so is this the same incident he is talking about?

So frustrated. Get up anyway.
So complicated. Changes every day.
So the darkness fades
And the light, will come shining through.
