Today’s the anniversary of the saddest day in SA history. Rest in peace, Karl.

Miss you Karl. Wish I'd gotten to see you play, at least once. :(

Life is too short folks. Tell the ones you love that you love and care about them as frequently as possible because they may be gone when you least expect it. So may you. :(

The songs that the guys dedicate to Karl are always extra special, leaving no doubt that he is always there in spirit.

Karl, we miss you and are so grateful to you for enriching our lives with your music, your sense of humor, and the enthusiasm for punk rock that helped fuel Soul Asylum's creation. You've given me music I've loved for 20+ years.

We'll never forget you.

Karl is greatly missed. They say a picture says a thousand works. . . Shows just aren't the same without him around. He really was in many respects the glue holding the band together. I think it's safe to say that he's still performing that job today.

I miss Karl. He was a cool guy and cool musician. I like to think of him as a benevolent guardian angel of rock.

Jim; I didn't know that, thanks for sharing.

A local radio station here in the Twin Cities mentioned Karl's passing (much to my surprise); the echoed all of our thoughts as well.

Mary Beth you were in my thoughts and prayers on Wednesday. I hope ALL IS WELL.

Jamie.
