21+??? Please tell me that's a misprint!

I just want to let everyone know that the date of the holiday show is still Unconfirmed. I recently received an email from Wes with some upcoming shows, but the show was listed as unconfirmed so I didn't list it.

Last year's holiday show was originally supposed to be scheduled for December 20th (and was listed on Ticketmaster, Pollstar, and First Avenue's website as that); it got pushed back a couple weeks earlier to the 4th.

So just to play on the safe side for everyone, I'm not going to post events until I know for sure; the management has the final word and exact date.

Where exactly on Facebook do you see it listed? It isn't on their offical Facebook page (unless I'm overlooking it).

A Soul Asylum Facebook entity posted it.

As for the 21+ thing, I know for the 20th anniversary show back in 2001, someone under 21 got in but he had to bring his dad with him. So you may want to call the club and see what you can find out.

I'm sooo tempted to get myself back across the pond to Mpls for another holiday show, but looking at the airfares, if the 17th Dec is indeed confirmed don't think I'll be able to as transatlantic airfares just go through the roof with it being so close to christmas, and it's one of the busiest times for my work, so I'm left hoping it might be rescheduled for a few weeks earlier like it was last year.

Just talked to Wes, the show is definitely a go!


The reason it is a 21+ show is decided by the band. If you are under 21, you can still get in as long as you are accompanied by a legal guardian.
