Got the word about this the yesterday from Wes but wasn't gonna post it until tickets went on sale, but I might as well now.
Looks like I
might be able to head down there though... I was only 15 miles away from Lincolnshire when I was living there in the burbs.
Viper Alley
250 Parkway Drive
Lincolnshire, Illinois 60069
Showtime: 9:15 PM
Tickets go on sale March 15th at noon.

Also, it looks to be a brand new place (judging by the logo and info on their site).

Those of you from the area -- is there any public transportation between Chicago and Lincolnshire? if the airfare is not outrageous, I might try to fly in for this, but not if it's too difficult to get to.

The Metra train goes from downtown Chicago to the northern suburbs. There isn't a stop in Lincolnshire, but there are two different train lines with stops each about 2.5 miles away. Should be a cheap cap ride from the train. Problem is neither line has trains that head back into the city after 10:30 which really wouldn't do much good a night of a concert.
If you go a little further there's the Metra UP-North and that has a train leaving around 12:30 and 2:30 depending which station you get it from. The cab fare from these stops should'nt be much more and if you get off at Great Lakes you'll definitely not have a problem finding a cab as you might at some of the other stations.
Hope this helps!
Can't wait for the show

Got my tix for this one .
Go for the GA tickets for $25 not the $40 (for bowling seating - on/over a lane)

I just got tix as well. I went for the $25 tix. The $40 tix are for a room with couches and you cannot even see the actual stage from the description of this area on their site. It is a room with tv screens where you watch the band from. No thanks.

Does anyone know what time they will actually take the stage? I could not make it there until about 10:30 due to a work commitment. I'd love to see them now, though, as they might play a new song or two. Otherwise, they are usually good for a festival or two around Chicago each summer.
