Not about this show in particular, it's just that they've cancelled 3 shows so far this year for really vague/unknown reasons. But hopefully they were unrelated and this show will work out fine. fingers crossed for all you guys!Ugur wrote:is there a rumor about cancelling?or is this wish of yours just a general one?

If I recall, the last one was cancelled for pretty concrete reasons, lack of ticket sales. Considering they were being booked at a venue that could hold over 1000 people in Seattle, that didn't surprise me. I want to say the venue was close to the size of first ave, and I couldn't imagine them getting those kind of crowds outside of the twin cities, or possibly chicago area if they hadn't played in a while.

I just bought my tickets after umming and arring for all of a day and a half i have decided i just can't miss this gig!!!! and i can no their wouls be tears if i saw the sold out sign on line (was hoping for a manchester gig) Travelling from Wakefield West Yorks no idea how much it is gonna cost me but I have been waiting to see Soul Asylum in the UK since Grave Dancers Union CD (i know they got big on this one but got all the earlier stuff just after) , I still remember buying let your dim light shine on cassette and seeing a sticker for the uk tour on it only to find out I missed those shows. (sad dat)
So for all those who never thought they would see the day they came to the uk i say a massive CHEERS!!!
now to book a train and a hotel, p.s. the venue looks really nice on the website

the Forum is my favourite London venue, I go to well over a hundred gigs each year in London and that place always has the best sound.

really looking forward too it, is it easy to get too from kings cross, just wondering where to possibly look for hotels. Also tempted to drive over but not sure where i could get parking and a room in london and still be close to the gig. 16 years is over half my life since they last played uk crazy!!! i am well excited.

It's the third stop (Kentish Town) on the Northern line from Kings Cross towards Highgate so it's really easy, maybe five minutes and the tube station itself is less than a two minute walk.
Not sure about parking as I don't drive but there are plenty of B&Bs in the area.
My last train leaves London at one in the morning so it's not like I have to rush off after the gig but I'm tempted to get one myself just incase I lose track of time.
