So 20 years later Tommy is playing at the same place , on nearly the same date.
Let's hope it does'nt turn out the same way it did 20 years ago.
I know it won't but it is a bit of history to remember.

Although the capital summer beers are available now, I just don't see myself making it out there. Lack of funds, and lack of transportation start to get to me. I will be at summerfest for the Jayhawks and Alejandro Escovedo. Other than that my next few weeks are filled with thesis writing (I do also plan on seeing the riverboat gamblers on july 22nd, but I think I'll be sending my committee my thesis the night before).

Crap! Why did I just read about this online a little bit ago? How far of a walk is it from the Metra station to the music area?

I saw that Rare Earth is on at 5PM, so they must only play an hour before SA takes the stage.
