I was looking at it earlier today and it appears they've changed the onsale date to July 8th.

If you go to the casino's website, click on entertainment, the scroll down to Soul Asylum and click on the ticketmaster link by their name, then scroll down that page and find SA again, it says: on sale:Fri, 07/08/11 12:00 PM

I'm on the fence about this show. I just saw them in Niagara Falls last summer. Tickets start at $55 so I wonder how much the front row costs. Plus, sitting down to see SA doesn't sound like very much fun.

Then again, it's rare that they come within 4 hours of Pittsburgh and we mid-atlantic beggars can't be choosers now can we? Decisions, decisions.... You know what would be really cool though? Pittsburgh has this new music venue called Stage AE that I think would be a really great place for SA to play. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case certain people are reading this forum :D

Anyway, yeah, Soul Asylum in Niagara Falls. I dunno if I want to go to this one or not... someone sway me in a direction. Any direction, I don't care which.

Apparently the priciest tickets for that show is like 72.00 with fees O_o, I REALLY wanna go, but i wanna guarantee front row dead center if I'm about to cough up that much money -.-, they are only performing like 30 min away give or take. Im only like 20 min away the Niagara Falls, Canada, I live in the Niagara Region of Ontario, i NEVER got to see them last year, and I really wanna go, but I'm not sure if I really wanna pay that much for a ticket =/. Considering i will be going alone as always. I couldnt find a buddy for the Mr. Big show I'm going to see Aug 19th, as my friends tend to call the bands i listen too /lame/. So i decided to get a VIP package which means i get to have a meet and greet with Mr. Big, though this costed me 216.00 CDN - i got an extra shirt in there >_>. BUT this means im going to the show alone urg......

If I do decide to go, maybe some SA fans could chill with me O_o......

It would be my FIRST SA show, since falling in love with their music in 1993 [i was 12 :)]

Also the ticket sales changed to this Friday 12pm

i know its tough to pay that much for two tickets that close apart.i hope you can go. i go by myself to concerts all the time nothing wrong with that its better than taking someone who doesnt want to be there.

going alone has 1 major benefit for a die-hard fan. Unless a companion is as big of a fan as yourself, a companion can be a handicap when it comes to wanting to hang around hoping to meet the band members before or after the show.

Being by yourself means that you can devote as much effort/time as you want into an attempted meeting without feeling guilty about irritating or inconveniencing a companion.

Carpe Diem, and have a great time!

I'm also not sure about this one. I live in toronto, not too far and the price is not an issue for me. That pesky thing called work could be the problem. I might have to wait to know if I can get the night off and it may be sold out by then. If I do go it would be cool to meet anyone on here that goes, but for now I might have to settle for youtube.

Just got tickets for this one!!! :D Got the night off work and can't wait. I guess I saw them last in Buffalo 4 years ago. Does anyone have more info about the venue or if there's an opening act? I hope it's just them. A good hour and a half set (or 2) would be an awesome birthday present, though my birthday is the day before, it's close enough. It will also be my girlfriend's first time to see them, so she's taking my word that they're awesome. I sure we won't be dissatisfied. :D :D
