I'll be in Florida in 3 weeks, too early for the show, but good news for sure. Maybe Dave will give a more specific release time for "the album". For those who make it there enjoy, they were right on back in September!

Don't want to be.....

Unfortunately, this link takes me to my face book. I have seen that. But ooh FL for St. Paddy's and my bday, sounds pretty good. I am taking it that this is a second night in Fortlauderdale.

Getting my hopes up for some silly love songs.

marionette, I'm not sure why the link doesn't take you to the right facebook page, but just search for Orlando Harley Davidson on facebook. That's where the link should take you. The Fort Lauderdale show is on Friday the 16th and the Harley Davidson show will be on the 17th. There's not a whole lot of information available for it yet, though. From what I can gather by a local radio show, the show will be at the dealership...not sure about time or ticket price yet.

The first show is in Fort Lauderdale on the 16th and the second is in Orlando on the 17th. The tickets for the Fort Lauderdale show are available through ticketmaster, but no ticket information is available yet for the Orlando show. There's actually very little info for the Orlando show as of yet, only that it should be at Orlando Harley Davidson on March 17th (that's from the OHD facebook page and radio ads they are running locally).

The prospect of seeing them twice in a row again has me really amped, but the fact that there's been no anouncement through the band for shows less than two months away has me concerned that I got my hopes up too soon.

Spring break SA style? OK, Daniel Murphy co staring on St. Paddy's day. Hmm well it is a long way from Chi town. Doubt there will be a green river. But as far as I know, first SA St Paddy'd day show. If it is at a Harley Davidson, I may have to get a tAtoo.

Better than I ever felt before

Just got back from the free Orlando bike fest show. I found out about this a few days ago on FB, but otherwise it received very little to no promotion and as a result the crowd was very small but appreciative. If there were 250 people listening I'd be surprised in an area that probably could have stood 1,500-2,-000. The stage was basically set up next to a Harley Davidson store right on I-4, so while they played cars flew right on by.

Despite this, the band was great. With Tommy and the Figgs both being in Austin for sxsw they found someone to play bass and I think they said his name was Roy or Ray, but never introduced him other than to say he was 'a quick study', which he must have been b/c he sounded rock solid to me.

Setlist:
STS
All is well
Misery (silly love song snippet at end)
Lately
Into the Light (never heard this before, but a great song)
Black Gold
Without a Trace
Summer of Drugs
Shakin Street (Mc5)
Can't stand gravity (another song I never heard before, but great)
Cartoon
Gone til November
What you need
Never Really Been
RT
Closer to the stars
Just Like anyone
Stand up and be strong

Encore
Cover (didn't get the name)
Cocaine Blues (Cash)
Last Train to Clarksville (tribute to Davy Jones)
Your Generation (think this is a Gen X song)

Somewhere in the main set Dave and Micheal Bland did a funny bit about his 19.99 acoustic guitar where they played some impromptu blues, country etc...kind of cool.

Well worth the drive over from Tampa. Felt bad about the small crowd, but the sound was great and the band played like their were 10K people as opposed to a few hundred.

Lots of people taking photos and video's so hopefully they will show up somewhere
