Well, apparently, Dave has become quite familiar with them. That is also something that we have an over-abundance of here. It might have been one he befriended here and took up for the show.

I wish they would add "Oxygen" to the setlist. Somewhere in that 7-12 block of songs would do nicely.mrchickt wrote:Couldn't get the the pic of the setlist to upload so here it is:

2. Misery
3. Gravity
4. Lately
5 Whatcha Need
6.Black Gold
7. Without A Trace
8. By The Way
9. Cartoon
10. The Streets
11. Into The Light
12. Never Really Been
13. Runaway Train
14. Closer To The Stars
15.Attacking The Beat
16. Just Like Anyone
17. Stand Up And Be Strong
Re: 2012 June 1st - Friday LIVE! at the Factory, Charlotte,
What an incredible show! I hate to admit that this was my first Soul Asylum show ever.....despite the fact that they're one of my all time favorite bands. Going to this show was living out a dream! I didn't know that I'd ever have a chance to see them live. And best of all, I was 2nd row, 5 ft. from the stage!!
Dave Pirner is an amazing lyricist and musician. Their songs speak so loudly, and are so entertaining at the same time.
PHENOMENAL show - I hope the first of many I'm fortunate enough to see.
And yes, it was a real cockroach.
