Hmmm. It's a tempting thought, if it was the last show. Hopefully not....

R tickets only through Ticketbastard. I looked on th Potawtomi web site and could not find it listed there?
Too close to home not to go. Maybe we will get Waterfalls or April Fool?

Marionette don't know how close you are to Potowatomi, but if you buy your Tics at Potowatomi they are $23 for the best seats, if you sign up for their gambling card. No other fees involved. Looks like the discount is 8%.

As much as I want to go, I'll have to pass on this one.
I like how this article says "updated 10/22/12" (at the bottom of it in red) yet they still have 2 facts wrong (with a promo picture that's almost 7 years old nonetheless).

Looks like they were a little behind (4 years) on reviewing Candy:

OK, so who is in for a little lady luck and Soul Asylum tonight? I will be in the first row of booths, second from the end, Winston side of the stage. Ready to check out the new guy and trying to keep an open mind. See you at the show!

Another enjoyable night with Soul Asylum. For me the venue is weird for a rock concert. This time around, with no general admission, they had seats right next to the stage so we were kind of forced to stay seated in our booth. Just makes rocking out a little bit harder.
What a difference a show makes. Last time I saw them was the record release show and Dave did not look to be having a good time. This time out he seemed to be having a great time. As for the rest of the band Michael was his usual hard hitting self. Winston seems to be much more relaxed. New guy Justin just needs to lose the cardigan, which he finally did at the encore.
The band sounded great so no complaints there. Yes the focus for me now is mostly Dave with the departures of Dan and Tommy, but he did not fail to entertain.
The songs in no particular order that I remember are. If anyone has the set list please post.
Somebody to Shove
Misery
Marionette
Little too Clean
I Will Still Be Laughing
Closer To The Stars
Lately
Oxygen
Stand Up and Be Strong
Runaway Train
String of Pearls
Without a Trace
Black Gold
Attacking the Beat
Your Generation
Gravity
The Streets
The Juice
Just Like Anyone
Dave did seem too send one dig Dan's way though. After they finished Little Too Clean he Said "That is the first time in 25 Years that I got to hear how that song is supposed to sound".
Overall an enjoyable show and enforced that I will still be willing to travel to see them (him).

Thanks for the review.
Glad to see Dave was in good spirits though.
You mean they didn't let you guys stand up next to the stage, bummer. The last 2 (and only) times I was there they let us right up front, otherwise I do agree it's a little weird for a rock concert. I do like the awesome light setup they got in there for the show though (as they should... it's called The Northern Lights Theater).rockinbrian wrote:Another enjoyable night with Soul Asylum.
