so a buddy of mine last night said the above mentioned bands are playing this Friday at hte MN State Fair. I see no mention of this anywhere on the web except for the fact that The Suburbs are indeed playing at the State Fair on Aug 30th as part of the "MN Music On a Stick" concert
Anyone else here anything? I think he was just pulling my leg unfortunately......

I haven't heard anything about it. That being said I don't think it would be out-of-character for SA to do some kind of surprise concert. The addition of the Replacements makes it a bit suspect though. I would think with all the buzz about their reuion tour somebody would know something. But I don't know anything...just my $0.02. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.
