Normally I'm less excited about festival shows than regular Soul Asylum shows because, well, one usually gets less Soul Asylum. I must say that I enjoyed the entire show start to finish! I don't recall being bored once. Soul Asylum was awesome as usual. Enjoyed the other bands too. The only drawback was the weather-90's & humid. To the best of my knowlege, we haven't had any days in the 90s yet this year here in MN, so it was a bit of a shock to my system, but was still an enjoyable evening. Glad I have a 2nd Summerland show planned further out! : )
