Dave at the Dakota - March 7th, 2015

Post by EasyStreet »

as part of the American Roots Revue

With: Guy Davis, Dave Pirner, Robert Robinson, and Larry Long with special guest Waubanewquay Day

And if I am reading it correctly, there are 2 shows, one at 7pm then another at 9:30?
Sometimes I wonder.....why is that Frisbee getting bigger? And then it hits me.

I've got tickets for both shows so it seems you understand correctly. Nice to be able to see two shows without having to drive to a different city/state/venue in between. : )

I have a ticket for the late show, but when they have 2 shows like this (early/late), I am pretty sure they kick you out after the first one ends. Just to warn ya

What exactly do you mean by "kick you out"? You mean leave & then come back for the second show? I've been to early shows at the Dakota where they have strongly encouraged people to stay for the 2nd show too. (Need another ticket of course.)

I don't mind having to leave for a bit & come back. I was wondering how they would handle that.

Or do you mean won't let me stay for two shows even though I have tickets for two? Based on my previous experience there, I can't see how that would be the case, but thanks for the heads up.

well maybe I am incorrect about that.

I've only been there a few times for shows, but never for a show that had an early and late set. Thinking along the lines of a movie theater, I thought they would have you leave after the first show then re-enter some time later for the late show. But maybe they don't. But you definitely need a ticket for each show you are wanting to see though...

Both shows were a lot of fun! They filmed the first show, but not sure where or when it's going to show up. Haven't seen any mention of it yet. Been keeping an eye on Minnesota Original. That's where that First Ave. Delayed Reaction CD Release show turned up, but that's just a guess.
