Hey I was just checking out pollstar..and they had a new show posted for the band as 5/2/09 in Mound, MN at The Blast.

I'd love a date in Calgary, Alberta. Hell anywhere in Alberta. I had tickets to the show in Calgary(their first since November 1993) last October but for some reason it was cancelled. I tried but never could find out why.

Nice find Rusty! What's The Blast? Any idea? Google isn't telling me much about anything in Mound with this name....

Nice find Rusty! What's The Blast? Any idea? Google isn't telling me much about anything in Mound with this name....

Nope ...I couldn't find anything on it either. Just that Mound is even farther away from me then Minneapolis is....ugh!

The Blast is an outdoor block party fundraiser for the Catholic school in Mound ala the Basicilla block party in Mpls. Could be a lot of fun!!

May 15: Azkena Rock Festival - Vitoria, SPAIN
July 2: Weesner Amphitheatre @ The Minnesota Zoo - Apple Valley, MN
July 3: Surf Ballroom - Clear Lake, IA

Another zoo concert, thats cool!

Hmm, this makes me wonder if the Jayhawks also plan on Playing Azkena again (there were there last year). I know they have a concert in Spain on the 28th of May at another festival, so it might not be too surprising to see them play Azkena as well. If so this could be a really awesome show, and make it really tempting for me to fly across the pond for a summer vacation.
