Just trying to get a feel of who might make the Cubby Bear. Thinking of a pre showing meeting if anyone is interested.

I'm definitely up for this! The shows less than a week away. I know there are a lot of chicagoland fans on the board, we need to get a role call going, and come up with a place to meet before the show, as it's always fun to put faces (and real names) to the screen names.

This sounds like fun. The bad thing is I am not sure when I will get down to the city. I have a lot of daytime running around beforehand.

Mike,

Sign me up for one!

K, so if your interested here is an idea.... River East Art Center (435 Illinios St.) Show place Dali-Lamb Museum. New! Interesting stuff. Several other art galleries too. Right near Navy Pier (about a 2 blocks away). We could meet and hang out for a bit. BYOB (grocery right there if we need more). Very casual.

Virtually any public trans that would take you to Navy Pier will go right by. There is metered street parking that is reasonable if you are driving. Parking in the garages is pretty high. Can ferry some to the show. About 15 min. from Cubby Bear.

Open to any other suggestions, this is just one option.

Let me know if you are interested or have another idea....

I'll be there. I don't know if I can make it beforehand to meet up since I'm might be going into work a little bit early (and only work part of the night).

I will be there...is there a way we can get a message to SA to request songs for the Cubby Bear show? Most SA shows I have seen recently have been festivals where they tend to stick with the same set list. -Ryan

How about:
Veil of Tears
Blood into Wine
I Did My Best
Summer of Drugs
To My Own Devices
We 3

Little too clean, I have a live recording from the Beacon Theater in new york from feb. 93. I will be at the show sat. and would gladly trade you a copy if you don't already have it( I didn't see it listed on your site) for a copy of your dvd's.

Jim,

Sounds good looking forward to seeing you!

Rydshelt,

Hope to meet you... as far as requests, I guess my list would be too long!!! But I do know that songs have been played through requests on the forum. Nice Guys Don't Get Paid came out of the hiding for Dells at the MN Xmas show in 2009, and it was quite the treat.

I am sure it never hurts to ask! Still waiting for Crawl, Little too Clean, Whoa and Spinning.

Truthfully I am always happy with what ever they play...

Meg

P.s. gullibiles travels....
