Niagara ME wrote:We went last night and the band was incredible!! But, not being a huge SA fan (that is, until last night lol) I have no idea what the set list was, and want to know b/c we want to start our SA cd collection. Could somebody let me know what was played? Thanks so much!!
Glad you liked the show! It took me seeing them live to become a big fan too. Here's the set list for ya:
Somebody to Shove
All is Well
Misery
Lately
Cartoon
Whatcha Need
Black Gold
Without a Trace
New World
Easy Street
Oxygen
Bittersweetheart
Slowly Rising
String of Pearls
Never Really Been
Runaway Train
Closer to the Stars
Just Like Anyone
Stand Up and Be Strong
and Sometime to Return was done for the encore. The rest of their encore songs were covers.
There was one or two tunes that were sort of funky and warped lol and we just fell in love with those. I think one of them may be "Slowly Rising". I know they were played before "Runwaway Train". I went to Amazon to listen to the sound samples, but sometimes Amazon doesn't use the best parts of a song, you know?
And what was the song that seemed to have a gunshot somwehere in it? (I think towards the end of it and then some red lights began from the stage) My bf is still talking about that one.
ok, and forgive my ignorance with the lyrics, but there was a tune that said something about not needing a vaccination or getting a bad solution or cure... (I am sure every SA fan is laughing at me right now!! lol)
What was great about the show was watching the die-hard fans. Seeing people sing along, or dancing or fist pumping was really fun.
It really is too bad that the show got moved indoors, I think it would've been so much better outside but the weather was not cooperating that evening, was it?
Hmmm, I wonder if anyone made a recording of the show ......
