Looking for your avatar?

Post by Homesick »

The forum software lost track of all the avatars after the upgrade but each and every one of them is still on our server, so you can visit the following link to grab yours and restore it manually:

Jakob, I cannot upload a new avatar (from machine or from URL). All I can do is to link of a picture for my avatar...

Anyone else having this problem?

Yup, the error message is....

The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 9 KiB.

However, my file size is within that range! Arghhh!

Hmm.. It seems that a pic 9KB in size would be impossibly small to make out. I can't resize any images to that dimension. When this site was first created it had a similiar rule, then it seems that allowable file size went up, and now its back to 9KB.

I've increased the limit tenfold, so try it again now. (It should have been that high to begin with, but it seems I accidentally mistyped it.)
