updating my email address within my profile

Post by norma023 »

so I changed my email addy in my profile so all notifications/pm's etc go to the newly specified account, and all is good there.....

But when I go into my User Control Panel now, then under Profile, then Edit Account Settings", it shows the old email address that I was using. Ok, thinking I never did change this, and/or need to change it there as well, so change this setting to match somewhere else I had changed my email addy, but it says that email address is already in use?

Is that normal? I can't just clear that field because it then says the email address is too short.

Is that a bug? Or am I overlooking something?

Buehler?

I don't know who Buehler is, but I'll fix that for you if you send me your new e-mail address in a PM.

I believe he's referring to a scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off in which the teacher (Ben Stein) is waiting for a reply.
