Trivia: On May 15, 1998, I saw Soul Asylum at Tramps in New York City. I had never been to the area where the club was, so I decided to search for the club earlier in the day. The moment I walked up to the club, Soul Asylum got out of a van! They all said "Hey" to me and shook my hand, and Dave stopped and talked to me for a good 5 minutes. It was incredible!

It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

Some SA related trivia: Ashamed to say, I was a late arrival - becoming a real fan in 2009; have seen SA twice and Dave once, at this year's Best of the Beat Awards; Favorite SA Moment: The opening chords of "Somebody to Shove" at the 2010 Gretna Fest - they were the best thing about the 2009 Fest and told everyone I knew they had to see them in 2010 - they did not disappoint...

Re: Map of ETSA members – Where do you live?
I have created a fanbase map of the members who have provided their name and location in this thread; yet it is very far from complete. The only way it could ever be complete is if we had every Soul Asylum fan leave their mark on the map, but we can do our best to try.
In order to show just how large and vast the Soul Asylum community is, we encourage you to fill out the form that are located the bottom of the fanbase page. I will add the information as soon as possible and you'll be able to see yourself up along with the rest of the fans.
For future quick access to the fanbase map, you can find it under "Other Delights" in the header titled "Fanbase Map".
Enjoy, and please help add to the map!

Re: Map of ETSA members – Where do you live?
Sorry I'm tardy with my info:
Name: Clydella
Location:little farm near Richardton, North Dakota
Trivia: Have been a solid fan since the first time I saw the Somebody To Shove video, but, because I live in such a rock-forsaken rural region of the country, I had to wait until the internet made it possible to find tour dates within road-tripping distance before I was finally able to see my first SA show on the Dim Light tour (8/17/1995 - Midway Stadium, St. Paul). I've managed to see them at least 11 times, despite my rural location, and every show has been well worth the effort of the roadtrip and lodging expenses)
