Unless I am missing something, that video footage could be just about anybody
That's Westerberg alright. You can tell by the skinny arms and bad fashion sense. ;)

I went to Chicago's show and had a blast despite the rain. Riot Fest was the best festival I have been to as far as planning goes. Plenty of options for a cheap visit, good food, and while beer was expensive, I did fine spending only 30 bucks on food and drinks for 8 hours of festing. Watched Against Me and Bob Mould before checking out the Sideshow tent for a few hours. The sound for the Pixies sucked so I left that early on for a good spot for the 'Mats. The crowd was awesome! Replacements fans from all walks of life together, trying to sing along to the barely audible pixies playing 500 yards away. Then they came on and I think my heart stopped for a few moments or had a murmur, as I felt an adrenaline surge and it was non stop rocking all night!

Sorry if you missed it! Sounds like rumors around town is a show here, venue not disclosed yet. They'd sell out First Ave 5 nights in a row, so maybe Target Field or something, but 'm hoping we'll see more shows, would be happy with some more Paul solo shows as well.

Cheers to you that got to see them, or are going to Colorado this weekend. It was historical!

It was definitely a great show! I heard almost everything I wanted to hear and got to spend time with friends too! The rain stopped in time for their set and started back up right as the band ended, which also seemed magical.

while I know next to nothing on this subject, but I do notice that the Main Room is not booked at all from Sept 23-25. That's like next week M-W. But it does seem rather odd the Main Room would empty 3 nights in a row early part of next week........
