Yep, I have. You're good at this off-topic thing. That had absolutely nothing to do with anything in this thread yet, well, it did have to do with Soul Asylum(I count that as a good thing since you declared this a rambling thread)! When do we get back to the really lengthy responses that consist of about twenty different topics?

wow what a challenge nicole :)
20 topics? hmm.

ok randomly soul asylum related i found a page in my old scrapbook thingy and it had 4 soul asylum/or dave alone pictures cut out and pasted in (along w/ some other actors i apparantly had crushes on at the time too)

i broke the pedal on our rock-band drumset again (superglue didn't hold very long) but randomly enough i had just seen a clip on G4 (geeky tv station) on a home-fix for just that problem. so now i have to get some metal piece thingie and screw it on and stuff. it seems easy enough but i have to get around to doing it.

i'm running out of random topics now that i'm under pressure for 20 of them. OOH tomorrow i'm working from home so that means i can play soul asylum in the background all day (except when i have to call into meetings)

we're now a month away from buying our house so that's exciting. but selling our condo is no fun at all. i'm starting to get sick of cleaning up after everything right away - i'm normally a slob.

that stupid orlando concert is irritating me by not having an address. i think i'm not going to go on principle of being irritated.

i went to a bachelorette party saturday and drove and had SA on the whole time in the car - trying to subtley get my friends addicted too but not working yet.

I do believe that this is now a contest to see who can fit in twenty different topics into one post.
Let me guess, one of those actors was Robert Redford? He will forever scare me along with my last social studies teacher who just happened to be only a year older than my brother. I'm sorry, but I can't really trust someone that reminds me of my brother to teach me anything except how to be a flying monkey.
You broke the pedal twice? I tend to break things, too. Let me think... Okay, I've never once broken a glass or a bone, but I break a lot of the things I make along with pencils, pens, my nails(I tear the top layer off them. not as gross as you may think).
Ooooh. You're under pressure you say? I have to learn fourth and fifth position by December and I'm not all that good at the violin. I'm afraid that I have damaged the hearing of the guitar player seeing as I sit next to him. I'm last chair first violin if you don't count him, and that makes me seventh chair! I thought for sure that I'd be second violin, but I made the cut and I'm the only freshman first!
Oh, I also have a lab due tomorrow and some articles that I have to read tonight. I did the lab, but I'm currently switching between singing and reading the articles.
Are you moving far? I moved from Connecticut to New York when I was about three. The following year I started art and piano lessons. Six years after that I started violin and then one more year and I started the flute.
My sister moved the Wii into my room since the tv in the living room is busted and her room is too cluttered to fit it in, not that mine isn't messy. I have a bed that's fairly high up(not bunk bed high, but high enough to come up to my shoulders) and I have about everything under the sun under there.
Okay, so you have a dilemma about the concert. Let's think. Why not bring an imaginary friend with you? No, that's stupid. People might start thinking you're crazy. You don't know any other people who are into Soul Asylum? Why not just force Soul Asylum down their throats? That's what I do, which reminds me, I've been trying to jokingly force my friend to read The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. My sister got the book for me for my birthday along with The Book of Bunny Suicides. My sister loves me soooo much, as you can tell.
Why would you go to a bachelorette party if you're married? If you really wanted to get your friends to listen to Soul Asylum you would have pulled your car over, if you were driving that is, and started singing along until your friends couldn't take it anymore. Sounds like fun!
So, no one really wants to read my writing for school? I wanted to prove a point that I could actually stay on topic, so I'm assuming that it's either a lost cause or you already believe me.
Oh yeah. I found out that my biology teacher is just like that crazy English teacher I had last year.
My health teacher says that pets relieve stress, which is the unit we're on now, but if he ever met my pets he'd beg to differ!
Don't use the '4' in this thread. It's taboo. I'm guessing you read the first page where people were complaining about it, and didn't you say that you thought you were too old to use it? Anyway, 4 and for have different meanings, so that gets annoying.
How many topics is that?

i didn't count -
more later but for now
a) no fingernail grossness. i have fears about that i don't want to talk about it. ew.
b) bachelorette parties - one of my friend's is getting married in a month. all her gal-friends go out whether they're single or not. i'm at the age where i've been to very many of these in the last few years and planned a few of them (helped to plan this one too)
c) not moving far from one hartford suburb to another one.
d) Not sure why i'm lettering these i'm nuts

You know,
it's easy to stay on topic when the topic is about rambling and nothing in particular...

Good point, but this thread was originally about me being annoying and then morphed into this. Somehow it came to be that people started throwing awkward into the mix, which I didn't understand at all. I never said I was awkward and I don't believe that I'm that awkward. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I'm one of those girls who doesn't mind gross things. I would've thought that you wouldn't mind that either because of your two older brothers, but I guess I was wrong. I won't mention that again.
Anyway, for some reason I had it in my head that you were going to a singles party. I know what a bachelorette party is, I just wasn't thinking. I really ought to learn how to think more often before I open my big mouth.(okay, so I barely ever open it. I did actually speak in English today, twice, without being forced to, though!)

hello again, belated reply to your 20topic post.
i've been trying to gently let SA overflow into occasions w/ friends but it isn't working. they ask me to turn it down cuz they want to talk. i found out a high school friend of mine in raleigh saw SA a year ago there... i hope she moves back to the northeast when she finishes vet residency thingy. i miss her and she'd probably go to another SA concert w/ me sometime :)
the concert i'd have to bring an imag. friend to is in FL so i don't really know anybody there to even try to convince. but i do know one (husband's friend) and if i ever find out the address and ticket price i will ask him very nicely to drive an hour and meet me.

no i wasn't into robert redford back then - he was an acquired taste later on. :) i think kiefer was in there and chris odonnel (umm yeah i grew out of that one quickly but still am a big kiefer fan) and christian slater i think. also had REM and Aerosmith pictures on that page.

violin sounds hard - how do you know where to hold down the strings if there's no frets? i always wondered how people could play the right notes on the trombone cuz of that same thing. i could barely play stuff where there's just one fingering for one (or sometimes 2) notes.

I have tapes on my violin to show where to put my fingers. Okay, I actually have two of those stripes you put on your car and one sticker, no tapes. I have a third and fourth finger tape for first position and a fourth finger tape for fifth position. You just slip them under the string so you know where to put your fingers. I don't know how people play without them. I know that currently I wouldn't be able to because I'm just learning fourth and fifth position so I would be lost without them.
I don't know who Kiefer Sutherland or Chris O'Donnell are, but I do know who Christian Slater is. He was in Heathers, right? Don't spoil anything about that for me because I have yet to see it.

ack! not knowing kiefer???
check him out you just have to. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000662/mediaindex
i'm so glad he got a good show a few yrs ago (24) because that way i get to see him on tv all the time :)
you should see 'Lost Boys' the vampire movie he was in way back in the day because it's a classic even though he's not as good looking as a vampire (in my opinion). there's a sequal (straight to dvd) but he's not in it.
