Re: movies
remember the movie "Big"? they filmed the making-a-wish scene (i think the one at the end, not the beginning) at Rye Playland (in rye, NY) that i've been to a few times and you can pick out the spot of the scene
neat.
we don't have many movies filmed in CT by me so i ahve to settle for NY ones (although i think more are recently like the university scenes in indiana jones i think filmed at yale)
oh and when my friend was going to wellesley (in mass) they were filming 'mona lisa smile' there, which is the school the true story happened at i'm almost positive.

Re: movies
Anyone remember Arlington Road (1999) with Tim Robbins and Joan Cusack? Most of the classroom scenes (all I think) were filmed on the University of Houston main campus in the auditorium where I had a class at the time. Of course all the filming was done in the middle of Spring Break when the least number of people were expected to be around campus.
So frustrated. Get up anyway.

Re: movies
I wanna add one more to my list:
Much Ado About Nothing (with Kenneth Branaugh) one of my favorite Shakespeare comedies...hilarious!
Also looking forward to Angels and Demons (loved the book) when it comes out.

Re: movies
I liked Adventureland and the music was great, but they completely squandered the setting. They kept using the same four parts of Kennywood over and over. It also seemed kinda pointless for them to be saying that they were in Pittsburgh when it could have been Anytown, USA. If they're not going to incorporate the setting into the story it doesn't matter for them to say where they are.

Me and my brothers are planning to watch Terminator 4: Salvation this summer. Did anybody see it yet? What are your thoughts?
Also, did anyone watch Drag Me To Hell?

Re: movies
go to terminator with low expectations so you aren't disappointed.
i did not like it much compared to the previous3. but if you just go to watch an action movie it's OK.
here's an interesting article on why the movie was bad - i recommend you DON"T read it until after you've seen the movie though!

Haven't seen The Terminator movie yet but I do want to..I love the Sarah Connor chronicles...
I did see Drag me to Hell and it definantly made me jump a few times..but I do have to say it was alittle predictable.
