Happy Independence Day!

Post by sayeeda »

Celebrate your freedom to think as you like, to live as and listen to what you wish, and to just be who you are. In fact, celebrate everyday! Hope you Americans have a great Fourth of July and to the rest of you folks around the world, live free!

N.B. I don't care if I sound like a Hallmark card or am full of cliches. In this day and age, and always, we have taken our freedom for granted not realizing how lucky we are to live as we wish, when people around the world are still fighting for the human right to just be who they are and think for themselves.

So frustrated. Get up anyway.
So complicated. Changes every day.

So the darkness fades
And the light, will come shining through.

"celebrate the independence of your nation by blowing up a small part of it" ...

Hope everyone had a very happy independence day. Mine went quite well, my parents were visiting and me and we ate burgers and corn, drank beer, and sat around listening to lots of music. Really, all you could want. Hope everyone else's was as good. Hope everyone remembers what it means to be free.

Phil
