New here from London
Good day everyone, just wanted to say that I am a new Soul Asylum fan. I was introduced to this music while vacationing in the States. I just wish I could have heard them sooner. Please pardon me if I ask silly questions but I'd like to learn as much about them as possible. Thank you.

Hello, Cherry.
I'm kind of new, too. And this board has been great in "learning me" about the band.
Welcome!

Thank You all so graciously.
I am fascinated by this band. I can't believe I didn't hear them until now. There are so many songs I have found to love. Are there any DVD's of any performances ? If so, where can I find them?

The Silver Lining comes with a four-song DVD, that's the only officially released video you can buy. Otherwise tapes of TV performances and concert bootlegs are floating around the internet.

I'm semi-new and also from the UK, I signed up about three years ago but this is my first post.
Another forum member who goes by the name of LittleToClean has a fantastic site that has loads of videos of the band that you should definatley check out and while it's not the same as having an official dvd there are one or two concerts you can download from the site including the MTV Unplugged episode which is well worth numerous viewings.

Among the "bootleg" stuff, look for Live at the Palais Royale, another broadcast of an acoustic show. There's a couple compilation videos of TV appearances and music videos too.

Welcome,
This was previously posted on the site. You can listen and download The Streets and a few other things at the following page:

Enter "Twin Tone" (no quotes) at the prompt.
Some really good things available.
