Hey guys!

Can you tell me if the booklet has the songs' lyrics?

Besides the best buy edition, there is a special edition of Delayed Reaction?

Thanks in advance.

:)

Yes, the album's booklet contains lyrics. :)

I will have them posted on the site soon. You can quickly access all of them here.

As far as a "special edition" though, none that I'm aware of.

Are the four clown figurines on the back supposed to represent the members of the band? Like the figurines on the cover of SWYW? Bookends to a career?

Those figures made me think the exact same thing!

So is Leave this Town a cover? Time Will Tell a Bob Marley song? Or are those originals?
Would you look into my eyes if I were to go blind?

They are originals, both written by Dave. :)

Got up this morning and drove to the closest Best Buy which is about 20 miles away. They had two copies. Listened to it on the ride home although I haven't had a start to finish listen yet. The Streets is the early favorite for me, the verses are just awesome, so much energy. I'm pretty happy with it and am sure to get happier the more I listen.

I preordered from Best Buy's website, but no cd had arrived by today. So I went to Best Buy after work and was pleasantly surprised that they had it. (I've struck out before with some stores around here if the artist isn't as popular.) So I canceled the online order.

There are lyrics but not for the bonus tracks.

My favorites of the new (meaning, songs first heard after 2008) songs are Gravity and Take Manhattan. I really like the story vibe for the latter, and the "you can fuckin' have it" lyric makes me laugh. Now that I have the lyrics and can understand what Dave's saying (couldn't at the shows), I actually like The Streets much better than I thought I would, again for the story imagery.

By the Way and Should Have Stayed in Bed are old favorites of mine for mopey moods, so it's interesting to hear them here...I'm still not sure which versions I like better, old or new.

I am currently on track 10 so I have not heard the bonus tracks yet.
