Sometimes I wonder.....why is that Frisbee getting bigger? And then it hits me.

I dunno if I can make this one. I can only get so many days off of work. I can make the First Avenue one for sure.

I was just having a look at tickets for this, and if you're planning on going then get on it, because the good seats are going fast.

Last night was a perfect end to the week. It was my favorite show.
But you don't have to take my word for it:

Would you look into my eyes if I were to go blind?

Thanks for this and all your other posts, and to others for their posts, about this past week. It's been great for those of us who could not be there, but wish we could have been.
However, it leads me to ask - just how bad was it with the sound (and lighting?) on Friday night? Twitter was all a-flitter about it.
Thanks again.

Re: 2012 July 21st - Paramount Theater, St Cloud, MN
This show was awesome. I'm glad my mom and my friends convinced me to go despite a tight schedule and a pricey plane ticket. It was great to meet a few new faces and see old friends again.
The theater was a nice place, comfortable seats (good for a girl working on 3.5 hours sleep!). Only thing I didn't like was that, I presume, the orchestra pit was covered so there was a bit of a buffer between the stage and the audience. I had a front row seat, thanks to Jenifer, so I couldn't complain much about where I was seated.
Gravity
Somebody to Shove
Misery (Dave forgot some of the lyrics)
Into the Light
Take Manhattan-introduced as a story about how NY, CA, New Orleans all didn't work
Little Too Clean-Dave said they were going from something new they barely know to something old they barely know
Black Gold
I Did My Best (Dave forgot some lines near the end)
When I Ran Off and Left Her
Just Like Anyone
What could be the very first intermission they ever had
Your Generation
Marionette
Pipe Dream-Any thoughts as to why Dave said it had a suspenseful ending?
The Juice-Dave got "strapped in" to his harmonica holding device. Afterward he tried to pat his head and rub his stomach at the same time, to show his multitasking skills.
By The Way
Runaway Train-the feel good hit of the summer
Love Will Tear Us Apart-It DID have a good light show, and the guys thought not too many people would know this song. I knew this song.
The Streets-Dave thanked the audience because without the fans he'd be a bum on the streets.
Attacking the Beat-we got a Minneapolis music history lesson as Dave told us it was a Suicide Commandos song and polled the audience to see how many people heard of them.
Stand Up and Be Strong-featured guitar tech Matt, who is the guy they call Terry at the east coast shows.
Encore:
My Baby (Not sure if that's right?)
Cocaine Blues-Dave had a bunch of lyric sheets spread out on the floor, so we didn't see his face while he was reading from them. It was fun to hear this one.
The Joker-They skipped the "pompitous of love" line.
Teenage Kicks (?) Dan sang lead on this one.
Shakin' Street
I also really liked how the Clam Dip album cover made it to the drum set. That was really cool.
It was great to be in Minneapolis again, even if just about 24 hours. If I was still living in Iowa I might have made it to more shows, so I am glad I got to one show with the old group of fans!
