Although the place is in a different city, I saw the venue I instantly thought of:

Even if the crowd isn't as lively at this show than the one in the video, as bad as it may sound, I know I'd probably go to church a lot more often (see around 2:20). :roll:

(The Blues Brothers is my favorite movie too.)

I love the Blue's Brothers! Never made the connection between the Triple Rock and the church in the movie and the triple rock has been a regular bar for me since moving up here. It's a smaller venue so expect a sellout and it will be nice and intimate. I won't be making it as it's my son's 5 year birthday on the 26th and will be heading down to MO for his party with my family, but seen a handful of Dave Solo Acoustic shows and it otta be fun!

On other "Dave Solo" shows from relatively recent months; has Dave been solo or w/ a second guitarist?

And if he's been with a second guitarist; is that the same guy who is taking over the Soul Asylum playing duties?
