I got an email from ticketmaster about this show today.
I am there!

I have listened to them since GDU but the first time I saw them was at The Sands in Bethlehem PA last year. Since then I have been watching, waiting, and hoping for them to come around near to me again.

It's going to be a long summer waiting for the show.

The Mohegan Sun link above shows Justin in the picture.
The pic on Ticketmaster still shows Dan.

I'm probably going to be going to this, assuming no shows are announced very soon closer to Minneapolis as I'm visiting Minnesota for a month from the UK from August 15th, but with no other shows scheduled & desperate to see Soul Asylum for the first time in 2 years I'm planning to fly out to Wilkes-Barnes from Minneapolis!

At least it's a headline show, theres not been many of those lately so I'm sure the journey out there will be worth it, the only big downside which kinds of puts me off a bit is that it's seated :( I've never been to a seated SA show before & the best seat I can get is 6 rows back.

Anyone been to a seated SA show before? What was it like I assume a lot of people particularly in the front rows end up standing anyway?

It's a great place.
I have lived in central mn now for 16years. Phew, northern is ok too, very flat though.
p.s. get the live at the Grand Forks prom cd, if you don't have it yet.
awesome.
;) Dont forget about the Spacehog, hogyssey album, rocks too.

Matthew, it will be something like my 6th Time in Minnesota! It's all thanks to Soul Asylum as I first visited in 2007 to see a show & Loved the twin cities & the state! But this will be my biggest trip to Minnesota yet as I'm going to be exploring the state by bicycle! So I'm kinda glad it is quite flat up north! I've only headed North of the cities the once on my first visit in 2007 (Duluth & Two Harbors) so I decided on this trip to explore the state & I've plotted a 720 mile route around the state that will take in some of the best bike trails & best scenery, including following the Mississippi to it's headwaters & the shores of Lake Superior! Here's a map of my planned routing http://bit.ly/1ugkKBq

Where in central Minnesota do you live? Yes I've got the Grand Forks prom cd, not listened to any Spacehog or Hogyssey though so will have to check that out!

Andrew, it's awesome that you're flying out to the Wikes-Barre show! I am going, too, and am bummed to be sitting in the 3rd row. We've been to a few sit-down shows and they vary from place to place....in Mohegan Sun Connecticut, everyone rushes the stage, but the seats are not bolted down. I've only been to one SA show with arena-style seating and most people stayed sitting. If there's a space to rush the stage at Wikes-Barre, we'll meet you up there! :)

Confirmed my flights now for this! Going to arrive the Friday evening & stay in nearby Scranton for the night then after the show going to hang around the casino for several hours as my flight back to Minneapolis via Chicago is at 5:50am on the Sun morning so decided it was rather pointless in paying for a hotel for the Sat night

My hotel in Scranton (The Radisson) put on a complementary shuttle from the airport which is great, but apparently don’t offer a shuttle to the Casino & from my research I can’t find any bus to the casino, so been trying to work out how I can get to the Casino from Scranton, if any of you that are going will be passing through Scranton on the way & can offer a ride then that will be most appreciated!

ArmyKat Fingers crossed indeed that there will be space up by the stage to stand, I'm not particularly happy at all about the prospect of having to stay seated in row 6, it's to the left of the stage as well seat 3, see you there, 2 weeks today!
