Dave Pirner-Runaway Train in Nova Scotia 08/14 Interview too

Post by spinnin in ny »

I didn't see any mention of this, but David was part of Halifax Urban Folk Festival in Nova Scotia. It was w/o Soul Asylum. I posted a link to Runaway Train as well as an excellent interview. I really wish I was going to the concert at Mohegan Sun at the end of the month. I had an awesome time at the Mohegan Sun concert in Pennsylvania. I've been a fan for 20 years, but I hadn't seen them live since the late 90's in Manhattan. Such a great band!! I'm happy they're doing Spinnin' You guys going to CT at the end of the month are going to have a blast!!

I did not expect that kind of solo in Runaway Train, but... I like it.
If anyone has a chance check out youtube footage of the Joel Plaskett stuff. He's a really clever songwriter. His former band (late '90's) was called Thrush Hermit and he's made a bunch of albums since.
