I have a dachshund named Vienna (after the Chicago hot dog company). She's 12 and getting a little grey, but that doesn't keep her from slowing down at all; especially when someone comes to the door. She's right there barking at them, then 2 seconds later beggin' for treats from them.

May be hard to tell from the flash, but her eyes are green (just taken a few minutes ago):

Oh my god, they all are so sweet!

Cordelia has me beat in the number and variety of pets, but we have two dogs (Ginger & Bubba), three cats (Harlequin, Daisy, and Mr. Z), and a goldfish named Sara. All are either urban rescues or pound puppies. The fish was won at the local carnival by our daughter, Katie, who graced the stage with SA at the Hollywood Clambake in Oct. 07. No current pics available. All three cats are black & white domestic shorthairs of no relation to each other and widely spaced in age. The dogs are mutts, Ginger's dad was a Chow (sometimes we say she is half squirrel), and Bubba is a black lab mix who originally hailed from Alabama (hence the name...given to him by the local humane society). How we wound up with three cats is beyond me. I am a dog person who has apparently given birth to two cat people...how does that happen?

I have 3 cats and a dog. I'll see about getting pics up later. Two of my cats are black and white. The other one is a brown tabby with white chest and paws and a white tip at the end of her tail. My dog is a German Shepherd mix and a big baby. She doesn't have pointy ears or low hips.
