I keep on having that dream before I goto a show! I think it comes from the 2nd time I saw a SA show, in Sheboygan when I had only arrived the the USA the previous day and I was jetlagged so I had a sleep in the afternoon and very nearly did oversleep and miss the show!

Those of you going enjoy the show tomorrow night!

A short show, but fun, and I enjoyed hanging out with Judith (thanks for the sunscreen and the Coke Zero!), Nicole, and Gail. Also nice to resume my self-imposed duties as notetaker girl, so here is the setlist:

Somebody to Shove
All is Well--followed by comments on how much space (very much!) was between the stage and the audience. I think Tommy made a joke about alligators being down there.

Earth Festival--Dan was having problems with his amp, so Michael, Tommy, and Dave started jamming and Dave had impromptu lyrics about the festival. He said it was their new song, off their eco-friendly record. This record is so eco-friendly, it doesn't exist, because less packaging means less garbage. :)

Bittersweetheart
Easy Street
Misery/Silly Love Songs--in the key of C, no idea what C stood for.
Lately
Black Gold--introduced as "another anti-war song." Interestingly, while they were playing this anti-war song, there was a fight breaking out a few rows behind us.

Without a Trace--dedicated to Karl
Runaway Train--dedicated to the Figgs
Oxygen
Stand Up and Be Strong--Interesting gestures by Dave: "you might be right," he gestures to himself; "you might be wrong," he gestures in the direction of Benny and Tommy. Interesting gestures by Tommy/Benny: brief fake fight during "you might have to fight." Also in the middle, Dave said they had a surprise, which was all the guys immediately breaking into "My Generation!" Once they were done with that, they resumed where they were in Stand Up and played that to the end. That was pretty cool.

I'll let Nicole talk about her after-show picture. :) ...which I see she already posted!

hi sarah!

ok yeah so the show was great and it was really nice meeting you all too, and luckily i didn't burn but my friend is a LOBSTER. we just aloe'd her up and sent her home

looking forward to seeing gails pictures.

after the show we waited for an hour ... tommy michael and dan came out of the tent/buliding area and into their van... but only tommy waved back at as and none of them came over. then dave came out and came over to us (only us and one other fan guy was left lingering by then) and he gave me and the other guy and my friend autographs, gave sarah a hug and well i wasn't paying attention to if he said anything to my friend or gail i was busy getting my camera out and asking for a photo (thanks sarah for taking! great job!)

however... my friend forgot her photo she was giong to try to get signed and i guessed she wouldn't ahve anything so at the last m inute i grabbed a 2nd album cover for her... but now i had to give it to her so no more hang time album cover for me. oh well. i don't need 2 autographs but i will just miss my album cover. maybe i'll just buy her a 2nd copy and steal her cover :) but i think we got a new semi-convert cuz my friend proclaimed "he's hot". smart girl. aaaanyways.... was a great show !

oh yeah - the other bands were pretty good too. (seven mary three, lemonheads. sean mullin was ok but not my kinda thing. and the local contest winner band was really good what i caught of them on the way in)

so i only took one other pic since gail was getting good ones, but i also took a 10 second video clip on my camera when they were makign up the earth festival song but i think i started too late and only got instrumental part and no lyrics. but i can't get that file to play .. i think i need to download my camera software on my newish computer to get it to work(any suggestions on a .mov file type?)

here's the other pic:

Haha, love the video of that interview.

Have to keep my thoughts to myself, however, in this brave new world. lol.

Good interview. Wonder how many bugs he's swallowed in his lifetime to tell that was a good one. :P

Gotta add too, nice mohawk on Michael (notice the closeups on My Generation)! :D

Great concert overall! Thanks for sharing...reviews...photos...videos! :D

So frustrated. Get up anyway.

According to 'more info' for this video, you can look for Dave in the crowd. I just saw that video...but couldn't find him. Do you or does anyone else see him?
