OK, i was just listening to The Current and heard them say that Dave is going to be doing an interview tomorrow from 9 to 11am on NPR 91.1. I think they were calling it 25 years of Soul Asylum. Quickly looked at The Current's website but didn't see anything about it. Did anybody else hear anything about this???

OMG I just talked to Dave!!!!!! I asked him about the SA riff and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. He said Tommy made a joke about it at practice the other day and said to him that they'd made a career out of descending. He finally said that it was probably just something Dan does because it's easy. I love Dave!!!!!

What an interview! I could listen to this guy all day! Hopefully there will be a link to the interview on MPR's site. I haven't checked yet. AlyssaJones - Did they say your name is Sara? So what's with not humming the riff for Dave when he asked you? Too funny.

I missed the first 75 minutes (Stupid meeting); was able to listen/ work for the last 45 minutes. I especially liked how Dave explained playing RT. Fans drive far, spend their money, take their time to come to the show etc...I personally wouldn't mind if it was omitted from the set list; but not tomorrow. My two kids are so excited to hear RT; I am excited for them (if you’re a parent/ you understand.) Sara; I did hear you, quite a hilarious exchange. There must be something with the name Sara and Tommy Stinson; however because my wife (Sara) loves Tommy to. Borderline obsessed I say.

Sara, thank you so much for posting the link to that thought-provoking interview. I'm so glad I got to hear it. That interviewer asked great questions. And I'm glad you got to speak to Dave.
